Vision Services

At Southeastern Indiana Vision Development Center, Dr. Eric Weigel and the therapists use a wide range of optometric vision therapy methods to help treat several eye-related conditions, such as convergence insufficiency, oculomotor dysfunction, and binocular vision dysfunction, or BVD, to name a few, without the use of surgery. Dr. Weigel prescribes personalized therapeutic plans, which are individualized to meet the unique needs of each patient in order to ensure the best possible treatments results. Our team at the Southeastern Indiana Vision Development Center offer the following services to patients in Greensburg and the surrounding areas.

Visual Performance Evaluation

All patients receive a comprehensive visual performance evaluation, which includes a complete visual work-up, including a discussion of the patient’s health and visual history and symptoms to aid in diagnosis, a visual acuity test, a chair-side visual skills evaluation, and a battery of performance tests to assess eye teaming, eye alignment, eye focusing, eye tracking, and accuracy of the reading eye movements with the ReadAlyzer computer based tracking recorder. It is recommended that patients schedule a comprehensive eye exam annually for early diagnosis of eye conditions to maintain optimal ocular health. These comprehensive annual exams should be completed before a patient is seen at the Southeastern Indiana Vision Development Center.
